MONROE, La. – ULM head football coach Matt Viator has named as Alan Ricard as the program’s running backs coach.
Ricard previously held the same title at Nicholls State, where he also coached against the Warhawks on Sept. 12, 2015. He joined the Colonels after coaching the running backs for one season at The Apprentice School, a Division III program in Virginia.
Prior to the 2014 season, he completed an internship with the NFL’s New York Jets during the summer which lasted through training camp.
Ricard received his first coaching experience at ULM, where he played fullback from 1995-99.
