NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arkansas pushed two late runs across to edge ULM, 3-1, in a Tuesday night neutral-site contest at Dickey-Stephens Park.
Arkansas (21-12) stranded seven runners in the first four innings before taking a 1-0 lead in the fifth. Carson Shaddy reached on a hit-by-pitch and then scored on Luke Bonfield’s double to the left-center wall.
ULM (13-20) tied it right back in the ensuing frame. Brian Barefoot led things off with a single to center before moving to second on a passed ball. Cody Stone’s perfectly-placed sacrifice bunt down the third-base line ended up a single.
