NEW ORLEANS – ULM senior utility Carys Platt, who hit .889 (8-of-9), scored five runs, drove in two runs and stole two bases while helping ULM to a road series win, has been named Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week, as selected by the league's head coaches and communications directors.
Platt recorded three-consecutive multi-hit games last weekend against App State, going 3-for-3 in Game 1 and Game 2 of the series, going 2-for-3 in the series finale on Sunday. She went 2-of-3 in stolen bases, stealing a base in Game 1 and Game 3 in Boone.
