Parharm’s Personal-Record Earns Second-Place at Texas Relays

AUSTIN, Texas – At the 89th Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, junior Jemal Parharm Jr. headlined the ULM track & field program over three days at Mike A. Myers Stadium with a personal-record and second-place performance in the men’s long jump.

Parharm landed at a mark of 7.63m which broke his previous best of 7.57m. Parharm, a two-time All-Conference selection, was runner-up in the event at last year’s Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships and followed it up with a bronze medal at the 2016 SBC Indoor Championships.

A sixth-place performance came in the men’s triple jump from sophomore Lebrun Nelson who leaped for a score of 15.
