NORMAN, Okla. – Graduating ULM men’s golfer Velten Meyer was named a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar Wednesday afternoon, closing the books on his Warhawk career.
“I am very happy for Velten. He had an exceptional career at ULM and head a strong desire to finish his senior season on a good note. Velten is very deserving and an example of the type of young men we want in our program,” Warhawk head coach Tim Baldwin stated.
Meyer was one of 212 total players in Division I, 91 in Division II and 12 in NAIA that earned the academic honor.
