MOBILE, Ala. – The ULM cross country team completed the Sun Belt Conference Championships on Saturday, Oct. 27, and were led by the performances of Elias Keter and Sharon Jerono in the process. Keter led the way for the Warhawks' men's unit with a 12th -place finish, while Jerono was the top woman on the team with a 39th -place outing.
Keter completed the course in a time of 25:37.31, averaging 5:09.03 per mile in the process. He was 1:32.40 off the pace established by individual winner Nadeel Wildschutt (Coastal Carolina). While the Chanticleers placed three runners inside the Top-10, Texas-Arlington took home the team title with a total time of 2:07.
