COLLEGE STATION, TX – ULM's Eric Hawkins completed the 800-meter run at the 2020 Ted Nelson Invitational in a time of 1:53.89 and in the process claimed the fourth first-place finish in an 800-meter race in his Warhawk career in the meet that took place at Texas A&M on Friday, Jan. 17.
Hawkins, who posted three victories in the 800-meter races at the Louisiana Classics (1:55.19), Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays (1:52.64) and Southern Miss Open (1:55.17) a season ago, posted his second Top-3 finish in 2020 after crossing the line second in the 800-meter race at the LSU Purple Tiger a week ago.
