On a new-look ULM basketball team, transfer Russell Harrison passes the eye test.
The 6-foot-7 forward from Clarendon (Texas) College announced his arrival Wednesday night in an impressive home debut with 22 points, nine rebounds, two 3-pointers and three assists in 36 minutes. Although the Warhawks lost to Lamar on a last-second shot, Harrison's skill set is one of the reasons ULM coach Keith Richard feels optimistic about this season.
"He's learning how to get used to the speed and strength of Division I college basketball, kind of like everybody else," Richard said.
