Monroe, La. - A furious fourth quarter rally propelled the ULM women's basketball team from a nine-point deficit to a nine-point victory over McNeese State, 69-60, Sunday afternoon at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
"I thought the ball movement was better," head coach Jeff Dow said of the 30-point fourth quarter effort from ULM. "I thought we were attacking the basket a little bit better. As a result, we shoot 62 percent from the field in that fourth quarter."
McNeese (0-4) matched their largest lead of the game at nine points on a basket by Damilola Balogun to put the Cowgirls on top 48-39 with 9:54 to play in the fourth quarter.
