MONROE, La. – Isaac Fontenot-Amedee, who has 14 years of coaching experience at the junior college and high school levels, has been named assistant basketball coach at ULM, according to an announcement made by Warhawk head coach Keith Richard.
Fontenot-Amedee comes to ULM following a five-year stint as head coach at Clarendon (Texas) College where he compiled a 92-62 record (.597), including three-straight Region V playoff appearances for the first time in school history. In 2019-20, he led Clarendon College to its best record in school history (29-3) and highest-ever national ranking (No. 3) while winning both the Western Junior College Athletic Conference (14-2) and NJCAA Region V Championships while qualifying for its first-ever appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament before COVID-19 forced its cancellation.
