MONROE, La. – The ULM basketball squad's current homestand has been a good one so far.
Daishon Smith scored 23 points as the Warhawks knocked off Nicholls State, 95-68, Tuesday night at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
"We're finally back home and giving the home crowd what they've been waiting for," Smith said. "We're trying to give them reasons to come back and support us when we begin conference."
The Warhawks, who played six of their first seven games away from Monroe, are 4-0 at home this season with Coppin State set to visit ULM on Friday night to wrap up the friendly four-game stretch that includes wins over Grambling State and Stephen F.
