Monroe, La. - Lauren Fitch scored 19 points and Amber Thompson added 17 as the ULM women's basketball team returned from a 10-day hiatus to roll by Arkansas Monticello 70-39 in the non-conference finale on Sunday afternoon at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
"We are really pleased to go into conference play on a high note and with a little momentum," said head coach Jeff Dow. " You never quite know what you're going to get with that first game back after the break but all-in-all I thought it was a pretty mature, business-like effort.
