OPELIKA, Ala. – ULM junior Guillaume Fanonnel moved into a three-way tie for sixth after firing a second-round 69 and helped the Warhawks climb to eighth in the team standings with a 17-over-par 593 (304-289) at the Tiger Invitational, hosted by Auburn University, on Monday, Feb. 25.
Fanonnel, who shaved six strokes off his first-round score of 75, began his day on the 10th green with a birdie. He added a second birdie on the 13th hole and finished the front nine with a total of six pars. Fanonnel recorded eight-straight pars, including three straight on the back nine turn, before coming through with an eagle on the fourth hole.
