BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Freshman Micaiah Dendy finished in first place in the triple jump and was one of 13 Warhawk individuals to finish among the Top 10 as the Sun Belt Indoor Championships concluded at the Birmingham CrossPlex on Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 20).
Dendy, who had a personal-record jump of 12.44m (40-09.75) in her fifth attempt of the event, joined teammates Alton Clay (weight throw) and Jermal Parham (long jump) as individual champions at the two-day event.
