Conway, S.C. - The 10th seeded ULM Warhawks had their run in the Sun Belt Conference Championship come to an abrupt end on Saturday, losing twice to fifth seed Coastal Carolina, 26-10 and 10-6, at Springs Brooks Stadium.
Coastal Carolina will face second seed Georgia Southern for the SBC title on Sunday afternoon in Conway.
In the first game of the day, ULM was strong early, taking a 1-0 lead on an RBI single by Chad Bell in the first inning, scoring Joey Jordan. After Coastal tied the game in the second, ULM regained the lead in the bottom half of the inning when Blake Buckman scored on a wild pitch and Braedon Barrett's sacrifice fly brought home Masen Prososki for a 3-1 lead.
