LAFAYETTE, La. – Junior Adriunna Brown of the ULM track & field program recorded a personal-record in the women’s long jump to earn a gold medal for the second straight year on Saturday on day two of three of the 2016 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships at the Ragin’ Cajuns Track Facility.
In the overall team scores, there was no movement for ULM from day one as the men remained in fourth and the women ninth.
Brown, from Macon, Ga., posted a new-best of 6.17m. It topped her previous best of 6.06m set last season and also triumphed over her winning score of 5.
