We'll address the most pressing question first as we introduce ULM wide receiver Jeremiah "Boogie" Knight.

What's the story behind that amazing nickname?

"I definitely get that one a lot," Knight told ULMWarhawks.com this week as he left the practice field. "So, in youth football early on, being shifty and really quick is where it developed. My parents gave it to me in football when I was 7 probably, and it just stuck."

If the name sounds vaguely familiar to you, perhaps you remember the 1997 comedy "Boogie Nights," which starred Mark Wahlberg as a nightclub dishwasher in the 1970s who became an adult film star.
