NACOGDACHES, Texas - The ULM softball team kicked the week off with a 5-1 win at Stephen F. Austin Wednesday night thanks to a big offensive inning.
TURNING POINT
-The Warhawks did all their scoring in the fifth inning, using three hits and two Stephen F. Austin errors to plate the five runs, which was more than enough support for ULM pitcher Melanie Coyne in circle.
NOTABLES
-In the fifth inning, Coyne drew a bases loaded walk to put ULM on the board before Cheyanne Lyon brought in two runs when she reached on an error moments later.
