NEW ORLEANS -- ULM softball outfielders Lourdes Bacon and Megan Brown collected 2024 All-Louisiana Collegiate Softball Honorable Mention accolades following a statewide vote from the Louisiana Sportswriters Association.
Bacon, a senior from San Antonio, Texas, led the Warhawks with a .389 batting average, 70 hits, 40 runs and 25 stolen bases in her final season on the diamond. She ended the season second in the Sun Belt in stolen bases, third in total hits and fifth in batting average, picking up All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team recognition. In conference play, she ranked tied for sixth with 31 hits and tied for fifth with seven stolen bases.
