PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mexico -- Sophomore Louis Anceaux claimed his first collegiate title with a score of -6 (210) and was crowned individual champion at the Vaqueros Intercollegiate on Tuesday (Feb. 4) at Playa Paraiso Golf Course in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. As a team, the Warhawks finished tied for ninth at a score of +48 out of 15 teams.
Anceaux opened the tournament with a score of four under par after sinking five birdies for a low round score of 68, leading the field. In Monday's second round, Anceaux again made five birdies and managed to work around four bogeys, turning in a second round score of -1 (71).
