BATON ROUGE, La. – Offense was at a premium on Saturday night as ULM dropped a 1-0 decision to Air Force at Alex Box Stadium.
The Warhawks (0-2) managed just six hits and stranded nine runners, with men left on third base at the end of three innings.
"It was a tale of two different games," ULM coach Michael Federico said. "Last night (in a 12-7 loss to LSU), there was a lot of offense. But to me it wasn't even the hits. A couple of times all we had to do was put a ball in play.
