SAN MARCOS, Texas – The backcourt tandem of Jay Wright and Frank Bartley combined to score 43 points on 16 of 22 shooting and the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team snapped a two-game losing skid with a 79-73 win over Texas State in a Sun Belt Conference battle on Saturday at Strahan Coliseum.
Wright scored 19 of his game-high 23 points in the second half for Louisiana (13-6, 3-3 SBC), which shot 54 percent (26-for-48) from the floor and 7-for-13 (53.8 percent) from behind the 3-point line. Bartley added 20 points for the Ragin' Cajuns, going 8-for-10 from the floor, with Justin Miller scoring 13 of his 17 points in the first half.
