LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team will return to action for its second tournament of the fall when it plays host to the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational that begins on Friday at the Culotta Tennis Center.
The two-day event begins Friday at 8:30 a.m. with doubles play, followed by singles play at 9:15 a.m. The tournament will conclude on Saturday with action beginning at 9 a.m. Admission to the tournament is free.
Louisiana, which opened its 2016-17 season two weeks ago at the ULM Warhawk Classic, is joined in the nine-team event by Sun Belt Conference rival ULM, Conference USA member Louisiana Tech, Southland Conference schools Incarnate Word, Lamar, McNeese State, New Orleans and Southeastern Louisiana, and NAIA member LSU Alexandria.
