LAFAYETTE — Louisiana Women's Tennis wrapped up the 2020-21 regular season in style, notching an exciting 4-0 sweep over Arkansas State at Cajun Courts.
Saturday's victory saw the Ragin' Cajuns finish the year with an impressive 6-1 record at home for the second-straight season.
Unlike the previous meeting between the two teams earlier this week, Louisiana took the doubles point with two matches that required a tiebreaker.
and did their part on Court 3, toppling A-State's Nejla Zukic and Yasmine Humbert, 7-6 (7-4).
The point came down to another tight match, but and were up to the task as the tandem inched past Thea Rice and Hunter Roper, 7-6 (8-6).
