LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Women's Tennis fired off another impressive victory on Tuesday afternoon after they blanked McNeese State by a final score of 4-0, improving the Ragin' Cajuns to 8-0 on the season. It is the program's best start since 2003 and the fifth shutout in eight matches this year.
After taking an early 1-0 advantage as a result of the Cowgirls not having enough players, the Ragin' Cajuns clinched the doubles points when Floriane Picaut and Dana Radovanovic breezed through their match by a score of 6-0 over Marija Mastilovic and Carlotta Romito and Mariona Noguera and Clara Mantaux defeated Sofia San Jose Moreno and Matilde Mulatero by a score of 6-3 to put Louisiana ahead, 2-0, in the contest.
