LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Women's Tennis team will resume play at home against McNeese State on Sunday, Feb. 21, at 2:00 p.m. following a 14-day layoff due to weather postponements.
Louisiana had a commanding victory against McNeese State last year, beating them 4-0 in Lake Charles. Last year's victory, snapped a six-match losing streak against the in-state rivals.
In her two years as a Ragin' Cajun, Clara Mantaux has not lost a match against McNeese, going 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles.
McNeese State is currently 0-6, but has played tough opponents like Rice, Houston and Texas A&M to start the year.
