LAFAYETTE -- A 24-3 first quarter scoring surge propelled the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team to their fourth straight win Saturday afternoon against Dillard in the Cajundome.
All 12 players that entered the game for the Cajuns (6-1) scored, and four reached double-figure points, led by senior Kia WIlridge, who poured in 18. Junior Gabby Alexander added a season-high 11 points off the bench. The non-conference win was the seventh in the past eight contests for the program overall.
Louisiana shot a sizzling 58.6% (34-of-58) from the floor in the game.
