BATON ROUGE, La. -- For the second time in three weeks and third time this season, Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns senior guard Keke Veal was named LSWA Player of the Week, as announced on Tuesday.
Veal started in both victories last week against Georgia State and Georgia Southern, helping the Cajuns (20-9, 13-7 SBC) clinch the No. 3 seed in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. She averaged a team-high 18.5 points in 62 total minutes of action. She shot 41.7% (15-of-36) from the floor and pulled down an average of 3.0 rebounds per game. She also came up with four steals, two assists and a blocked shot.
