LAFAYETTE – one-out double in the bottom of the 10 inning capped off a two-run rally and lifted the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Baseball team to a 6-5 win over in-state opponent Southeastern Louisiana on Tuesday at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.
(1-0), the seventh pitcher used by Louisiana (3-1) in the game, pitched the final 1.1 innings and fanned two batters in earning the win in his Ragin' Cajuns debut.
Louisiana led 4-1 after five innings before SLU (2-2) scored twice in the sixth inning and tied the game on Preston Faulkner's two-out double down the left-field line.
