GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Dominique Williams recorded the second-best mark in school history in the men's hammer throw and led a trio of Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns to a top-15 finish in the event during the opening day of the Pepsi Florida Relays on Thursday at Percy Beard Track, located inside James G. Pressly Stadium.
Richard Delphin added a seventh-place finish for the Ragin' Cajuns with Graham Sokol finishing 13th.
Williams, who entered the meet with a personal-best mark (187-4) set earlier this month, posted a throw of 193-8 to move behind school-record holder Justin Victor (219-8, 2015) on the Ragin' Cajuns career list.
