LAFAYETTE – Senior scored 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for his first double-double of the season while also becoming the 45th player in school history to score 1,000 points in a career as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team defeated Savannah State, 115-82, on Friday at the Cajundome.
added 21 points as Louisiana (2-1) sank a school-record with 16 3-pointers in the contest. Freshman scored 20 points for the Ragin' Cajuns, going 6-for-7 from behind the 3-point line, while added 17 points and six rebounds.
Louisiana used a 17-6 run during the first half to pull away from a 13-10 lead as Washington opened the spurt with a three-point play.
