LAKE CHARLES, La. – Sophomore Jack Tolson became the first Louisiana golfer since 1993 to post a 36-hole score of 11-under par (133) on Monday at the Lake Charles Invitational to end the day in first place at the par-72, 6,869-yard Country Club at the Golden Nugget golf course.
As a team, the Ragin' Cajuns are also in first place with a two-round score of 7-under (569) and have a five stroke lead over No. 39 Marquette.
Tolson's Career Day
Jack Tolson had just one blemish in his first round carding six birdies to post a career-best round of 67 (-5) in the morning.
