LAFAYETTE, La. – Louisiana sophomore golfer Jack Tolson captured his first career Top 10 finish on Tuesday firing a round of 68 (-4) at the 33rd annual Louisiana Classics held at the par 72, 6,866-yard Oakbourne Country Club.
As a team, the Ragin' Cajuns moved up two spots to finish in a tie for 11th at 10-over par (874) with Rice.
No. 3 Texas A&M was the wire-to-wire champion finishing the event with a three-round score of 29-under (835). The Aggies' Dan Erickson tallied a 68 (-4) in the final round to claim the individual title with an overall score of 10-under (206) edging McNeese's Blake Elliott by one stroke.
