LAKE CHARLES – Kyle Baudoin and Alexa Johnson each posted first-place finishes in the pole vault while the women's 4x800-meter relay team earned a first-place finish to pace the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns track and field team at the Cowboy Relays, held on Saturday at the McNeese Track and Field Complex.
Richard Delphin, Courtney Musgrove, Frankie Griffin, Taylor Walker and Mackenzie Marze all posted second-place finishes as Louisiana opened its outdoor season in the 14-team event.
Baudoin claimed the men's pole vault title for Louisiana, clearing the bar at 15-9, with teammate Matt Wilson finishing fifth overall at 14-5 ½.
