SAN MARCOS, Texas – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball was on the verge of handing Texas State its first Sun Belt Conference defeat of the season on Friday at Strahan Arena, but the Bobcats erased a 2-0 match deficit to escape.
Texas State's 3-2 (19-25, 22-25, 25-19, 25-20, 15-7) win snapped Louisiana's two-match winning streak.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Louisiana (12-13, 4-7 Sun Belt) hit .237 and forced Texas State into 19 attack errors at the onset of the match, opening a 2-0 edge.
Once the Ragin' Cajuns took a 5-3 lead in the first set following back-to-back kills from Nia Antoine and Hanna Rovira, they wouldn't relinquish their hold.
