LAFAYETTE – Summer Ellyson, who attained All-American status following a 30-win season, has officially been named the 2019 NCAA Softball statistical champion for victories.

Ellyson crafted a 39-6 record – No. 2 on Louisiana's season victories list – in leading all four-year schools nationwide (NCAA, NAIA, NCCAA, USCAA) in pitching victories during the 2019 season.
