Reigning Defensive Player of the Year T.J. Watt will get second and third medical opinions about his torn pectoral on Tuesday, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
If doctors determine that the Pittsburgh Steelers' star linebacker needs surgery, his season likely would be over. If Watt doesn't need surgery, he could possibly return in six weeks.
Watt suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of the Steelers' 23-20 overtime victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday and went straight to the locker room.
