New Orleans – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team will face Appalachian State in the quarterfinals of the 2016 Sun Belt Championship tournament on Wednesday, Nov. 2 in Foley, Ala., the league announced on Sunday evening.
Louisiana (8-8-2, 4-4-2 SBC) enters the tournament as the No. 5 seed and will face fourth-seeded Appalachian State (9-7-2, 4-4-2 SBC) on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 4 p.m. (CDT).
The Mountaineers have won three consecutive matches entering the tournament, including a 2-0 win against the Ragin' Cajuns on Friday.
