BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Juliette Smith set a Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns track and field indoor school-record in the women's pentathlon to highlight the opening day of the 2019 Samford Indoor Multi on Thursday at the Birmingham Crossplex.
Smith, who finished fifth in the pentathlon at the 2018 Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships at the same venue, scored 3,626 points to break the previous school mark (3,553) set by Kaitlyn Moreau in 2015.
