LAFAYETTE – A double-double from sophomore Kimberly Burton and 14 points from sophomore Malachi Seraphin-Williams wasn't enough for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team as they fell to the Dillard Bleu Devils 60-53 here at the Cajundome.
Burton finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds while Seraphin-Williams added three rebounds on 6-14 shooting but the Cajuns suffered from not having guards, senior Troi Swain or freshman Skyler Goodwin, as Dillard shot 44 percent from three-point range (8-18) to help the Bleu Devils take the game.
The loss, Louisiana's third straight, drops their record during the first month of the season to 1-3.
