CONWAY, S.C. – Mackenzie Cherry broke a scoreless tie in the 62nd minute with her first goal of the season and Coastal Carolina added a pair of goals during a furious eight-minute span to claim a 3-0 victory over the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team on Friday at the CCU Soccer Stadium.
Louisiana, which had its two-match win streak snapped, dropped to 3-8-2 overall and 2-3-0 in league play. Coastal improved to 5-5-1 on the season and 4-1 in league play.
