LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball head coach Gerry Glasco announced that Brittany Rodriguez, a three-time first team all-conference performer, has transferred to play for the Ragin' Cajuns in the 2018 season.
Rodriguez comes to Louisiana from Lamar where she hit .380-plus and was a first team All-Southland Conference selection each of the past two seasons.
The Cypress, Texas native is an outfielder. She will be entering her senior season in 2018.
Over two seasons at Lamar, Rodriguez collected 151 hits on a .390 average, scored 81 runs, collected 30 stolen bases and recorded 24 outfield assists.
