WACO, Texas – 10th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball scored 10 unanswered runs after an early deficit to defeat North Texas in the team's final round robin contest at the Baylor Invitational.
The 10-2 (5 inn.) triumph stretched Louisiana's season-opening win streak to 14 games. It's the program's best start since 2015, matching that squad's mark.
The Ragin' Cajuns (14-0) recovered from a 2-0 first-inning deficit as Kandra Lamb entered in relief and quieted the Mean Green's bats and the offense responded in the bottom of the first with a three-spot.
Lamb went on to toss five scoreless innings of two-hit softball.
