NATCHITOCHES, La. – Louisiana Women's Tennis (3-2) fell 4-1 at Northwestern State (1-1) in its first road match of the season on a rainy Saturday afternoon at the Jack Fisher Lady Demon Complex.
Sophomore Floriane Picaut, playing at No. 1 singles, won her fourth singles match of the season to move to 4-1 in the spring season, giving Louisiana its lone win of the day as the Ragin' Cajuns dropped the doubles point and three singles matches to fall to the Lady Demons.
HOW IT HAPPENED (Doubles): Louisiana dropped the doubles point, and Northwestern State got its first win in doubles when the Northwestern State pair of Patrycja Polanska and Rhea Verma beat Picaut and sophomore Dana Radovanovic, 6-2.
