LAFAYETTE – Powered by five scoring in double-digits, led by freshman Andrea Cournoyer's 16 points and sophomore Ty'Reona Doucet's 14 points and eight rebounds, Louisiana Women's Basketball took down the LSU-Shreveport Pilots, 89-57, in an exhibition game at the Cajundome on Thursday night.
Sophomore Skyler Goodwin finished with 14 points, while freshmen Brandi Williams dropped 15 points and Jazmyn Womack scored 10 points to help Louisiana finish with multiple scorers in double-digit. The Ragin' Cajuns finished shooting 50 percent from the field, and had 14 assists, while they held the Pilots to 33 percent shooting and caused 21 LSUS turnovers on the way to victory.
