LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns track and field team returns to action on Saturday when it travels to Lake Charles to compete at the McNeese Spring Time Classic at the Bill and Lena Henning Track and Field Complex.
The one-day, non-scoring meet begins at 9 a.m., with the women's hammer throw. Running events will begin at 10 a.m., with the women's 5,000-meters. Live results will be available at RaginCajuns.com.
Joining Louisiana and host McNeese in the nine-team meet are in-state programs New Orleans, Nicholls, Southern, Dillard, Louisiana College, Loyola (N.O.) and Xavier (N.O.).
The Ragin' Cajuns compete in Lake Charles for the second time during the outdoor season after opening at the McNeese Cowboy Relays/Bob Hayes Louisiana Challenge on March 9.
