LAFAYETTE, La. – Despite looking the better side for much of the match, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team suffered a 2-1 double overtime loss to Texas State on Friday night at the Ragin' Cajuns Soccer/Track Facility.
Both the Ragin' Cajuns (1-7-2, 0-2-0 SBC) and Bobcats (4-5-0, 2-0-0 SBC) tallied 13 shots in the contest including six on frame. Sophomore goalkeeper Victoria Ryan had four saves in the match, while freshman Kacie Pou had a career-high five shots and an assist.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Ragin' Cajuns held their opponent scoreless in the first half for the sixth time this season as the game remained knotted at 0-0 at the half.
