LAFAYETTE, La. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team dropped a heartbreaking 2-1 overtime decision to Georgia State on Sunday afternoon to wrap up the regular season at the Ragin' Cajuns Soccer/Track Facility.
The Ragin' Cajuns (3-12-3, 2-7-1 SBC) were outshot 13-10 in the match by the Panthers (7-9-2, 5-4-1 SBC). Georgia State held a slight 5-4 edge in corners as well.
Nine different Louisiana players registered a shot in the contest led by junior with two.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The contest would remain scoreless after the first 45 minutes as the Ragin' Cajuns outshot the Panthers 4-2 in the half.
