OXFORD, Miss. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team dropped a 6-0 decision to Ole Miss in the season opener on Friday night at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium.
The Rebels (1-0) outshot the Ragin' Cajuns (0-1) 24-5 in the contest and also held a 10-3 edge in corners.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Ole Miss got on the board early in the second minute when Haliegh Stackpole headed a cross from Gabby Little into the back of the net.
The Rebels extended the lead to 2-0 in the 17th minute on Madisyn Pezzino goal that was slotted into the bottom corner.
