LAFAYETTE, La. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team closed out its three-match homestand with a 1-0 victory over Arkansas State on Friday night at the Ragin' Cajuns Soccer/Track Facility.
The victory moves Louisiana (3-7-2, 2-2-0 SBC) into a tie for third place in the Sun Belt Conference with six points in league play. The Ragin' Cajuns picked up their third clean sheet of the season limiting the Red Wolves (5-3-2, 2-1-0 SBC) to just four shots in the match.
Sophomore goalkeeper Victoria Ryan notched her second shutout of the year with three saves on the night.
